It's too bad that the site owner doesn't realize that someone needs to moderate this stuff on an ongoing basis.
Being that you are the most diligent member here, if you were willing, you'd certainly have my vote to have that post.

Since admin has been MIA so long I wonder if somethings happened like an accident or other personal issue and perhaps the site is just in free-fall until it's service contracts expire.

Sadly, I agree. I was adding 3-5 comments or pictures per day. I only log on every 4-5 days now. Of the last 20 comments items updates on the home page, 18 were spam. It would be so easy to ban 1-2 people that are doing it, and keep the site going. Obviously the owner has quit watching.
Somebody send me an e-mail if the problem ever goes away.

I suggest to delete the accounts of spammers with all their posts, it's more easy and faster.

if you prefer to ban spammers, please remember not to ban IPs, it can give problems to serious members.

I hope we can fight spammers togheter

Well I sent a couple of them a personal message yesterday - telling them to go away ( but a little stronger ) and to take their spam with them.

Don't know if it worked, but it certainly made me feel a bit better........

You're welcome, but I mainly did it, because I'm selfish. I really like this site, and it wasn't going to lat long the way it had been going th elast 2-3 weeks. I just hope some of our regular friends come back and give it another try.
