I agree with you also.. sorority_blonde. It was in the 90's when I first got involved with a black man, and long before any sites like this ever existed. I'm not sure if it was the area I lived in or just my own observation but I thought I was one of very few white women who was Inter-racially involved.. and because of this, the relationship I had with my black lover was somewhat very discreet for a couple years or so... That is until I found the "internet" and soon found out that the Interracial LIfestyle between Black Men/White Women was very alive and the more I looked into it, it just seemed to me that the IR Lifestyle was one the fastest growing lifestyles in our adult society, not only here in the states but thoughout the entire world. It wasn't long after I discovered all this on the internet, and become more aware of noticing White Women with Black Men, even in our area, I finally "came out of the closet", (so to speak,) and became open about my Interracial relationship and it was like a mountain off my shoulders. I no longer cared what other people thought about me being with a black man, in fact, this might surprise many of you reading this, it just seemed to me that for every friend I lost that didn't approve, I really feel I gained many, many more than I ever had in the past. Even today, I find so many other women, both on the internet and socially, who are curious and want to be my friend.. So yes, I really feel the internet has played a very big part in promoting the IR Lifestyle. It's only my opinion but for me, it really opened my eyes to just how popular it has become and I find it very exciting to be a part of it.
